Kingscliff High School wins big at 2016 Murwillumbah Festival of Performing Arts

Kingscliff High School’s CAPA Performance Music program has enjoyed a tremendous inaugural appearance in the Music section of the 2016 Murwillumbah Festival of Performing Arts:

Wind Symphony: Winner, Open Concert Band division

Big Band: Winner, Open Big Band division

In addition, the Big Band was awarded the Best Instrumental Group award from across all the other instrumental ensembles that performed at the festival, and has been invited to perform at the Festival Gala in late August.

This is the first time that either ensemble has performed outside of the school. Congratulations to all the students and staff who have worked so hard to produce this awesome result.
